Twitter. All the kids are doing it. I've got a few different accounts for the moment while I figure out how I want to use the platform. Once the Twitter lists feature is in place I get the feeling this will get much simpler real fast. For now:

yours truly by day. updates from the day job (which is often also the night job), with commentary on the internets, baseball, airplanes, and the joys of management.

this account is also hooked up to Facebook for selective updates.

the feed from Thirteen; follow for updates on new hardware, reports during server problems, and information on new services before they're introduced.

my personal feed. here's where the art and the fun come in. i think this is the good part of twitter: you read along and construct the narrative in your head.

this obeys some basic commitments: total honesty, no filtering based on any considered audience, and no apologies. if for example we work together, and you see something you don't like on this feed, please just stop following. i bear no responsibility for your concern.
