PROFESSIONAL BIO


TJ Connelly is an entrepreneur, music curator, and creative technologist. He is based in Boston, Massachusetts.

MUSIC

In 2008, after three years working in a backup role, TJ became the DJ for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. He joined the New England Patriots to DJ at Gillette Stadium in 2014, and the Boston Bruins at TD Garden in 2017.

TJ hosts a weekly freeform radio show, No Promotional Intent, airing live Fridays at 6am on WZBC. He also appears monthly as a host of Late Risers Club on WMBR, celebrating its 40th year as America's longest-running punk rock radio show. His previous radio career includes The Boston Globe's RadioBDC and New England's last independent alternative radio station, WFNX.

TJ uses Swinsian to manage his music library with some support from beets. He uses Figure 53's QLab during baseball games, football games, and live theater performances. TJ is not a fan of iTunes, but still uses Apple computers.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

TJ is the founder of Thirteen, an independent ISP offering services to local artists, startups, and private individuals since 1997.

He is a co-founder of onthebar, the social compass for nightlife. Featuring several thousand cocktail recipes and the bartenders who create them, the app is free and available for iOS.
